Hello Christina. How is the wheather in Florada. Here it's been getting pretty hot. sleeped comfortably under just sheets last night. So how is the job search. I still wish you luck on you search. My son Joseph called. He is doing fine. He had just got back from a 3-day mission. He said these were the worst three days he had experienced so far. He said first, it took 24 hrs. to reach their destination. That's 24 hrs up, 24 back. So they were at the destination for 24 hrs. He was in a group of about 200 marines and 30 vehicles. He said he was DRIVING vehicle #7. He said they disengaged 3 roadside bombs but the vehicles ran over 3. Heavy damage was done to those three. Fortunately, no marines were killed. It wasn't long till they were under attack. After it was all over, 17 insurgents were killed and again, fortunately, no marines. He said he is pretty sure he killed one person and maybe two. He said he heard three bullets zip past his ear. He said it was very scary. He said he is safe at the base now. He said in three days, he will be going out again. Other than what he went through above, he sounds good. OK, that’s all I can think of right now that he told me. I will keep you informed as I hear it. You take care and thanks again for caring. Hi, your on line. How are you. my son called me last night. I was very excited to here from him. I've been reading the news on the internet almost every day. Not good. Now their talking about Iran testing long and short range Missiles to defend themslelves agains the U.S. and I forget who else. Dam, why are we getting involved with other countries problems. My son is doing OK. He received all the packages that were sent to him. He put in an order again for more stuff. I said anything son. Love that boy. He did receive your package and said for me to tell you thanks. He will try to write, but he said it's hard. I can tell you, I have not received a letter from him since he arrived to Afghanistan. How is the job search coming along. Their is a place across the street from where I live. I am thinking about checking it out. Well, got to go for now. My stomack is cussing me out right now. I know, we haven't been keeping in touch very well :S...ahhhh!! Things have been insanely busy here and I haven't had a chance to barely breath!!!!!! lol..but I have today off and my vacation starts tomorrow so it's all good ;) I'm super sorry to hear that you lost your job :(..did you like your job? lol.. I'm sure you can get a better job though, so it's all good, right? So this summer, I am starting a job on July 3rd and that's exciting for me!! This summer, I'll be soooooooooooo insanely busy!! I'll be working for 8 hours and a 3 hour trip there and back from work..then I'll come home, clean up the house, do dishes, and then go over and clean my uncle's house * I get paid 10 dollars an hour so it's all good* lol..Also, I will be squeezing Canadian Idol and friends and singing lessons in...crazy huh?? What have you been up to love?
