About Me: What about me? What am I supposed to say here? I'm old enough to do what I want, have two gorgeous daughters, I teach 4th grade-gifted, and I just can't seem to have enough fun (and that is what girls just wanna do!!)

Music: Depends on my mood... AC/DC, The Beatles, Michael Buble, Fergie, Steel Pulse, The Cars, The incredibly sexy Dean Martin, KC&the Sunshine Band. Personally, I don't think there is any mood that would cause me to enjoy jazz.

Movies: I'm a sucker for romance, old or new! It's all in the voice and words - okay it's the hot leading man too. Anything Adam Sandler, especially The Wedding Singer. (no he isn't a hot leading man but, I love to laugh too!)

TV: Who doesn't love Gilligan's Island? If it involves foresnic detecting - I'll watch it. No reality TV for me, I live it, why watch it?

Books: Gotta have those mysterious romance novels. Love Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, and Mary Balogh.

Likes: Adore the Beach, watching movies, listening to loud music with my top off (convertible), the beach, dancing, a thick Cuban accent, did I say the beach, massages and all types of pampering, Italian food, I mentioned the beach, right?

Dislikes: Being told "no", people without a sense of humor - anyone who doesn't think I'm funny, barbie doll type women, porkchops, extremely aggressive people, making phone calls, rude or ignorant salespeople, waiting at a stop light for an arrow - I'd rather go straight and make a U'ee - at least I'm still movin, and Kanye West.

Hobbies: Working on my tan, sleeping, socializing with friends - old and new, drinking coffee and alcohol (not usually together), and reading (unless it is 25 essays written by 9year olds. I can't believe I almost forgot my greatest talent - shopping!!!

Vices: Drinking too much (on occasion), sometimes smoking with friends, swearing and often being a tad vulgar. Yeah, my sarcasm sometimes gets me in trouble.

Virtues: I'm pretty thoughtful, creative, generous, loyal, and patient. I will stand up for what I believe to be fair and right for others.

Heroes: Let's see, my spidey senses are tingling... Superman, diaper-baby, the Spleen, Under Dog, and Wonder Woman (that lasso of truth could come in handy). Seriously though, I would say my great aunt who sacrificed to keep our family heritage safe in Cuba till her death. I even named my first daughter after her.
