About Me: Born and bred in south FL, went to Lake Worth high school and joined the US Marine Corps right out of graduation. Did that for 8 years, got out and tried the school/civilian thing for a minute. Decided I liked helping people, so I got into Law Enforcement. Not sure what the future holds. If I could go back to school, I would finish my degree in Astrophysics with a minor in Theatre.
Music: I listen to everything except strong country and most crunk. I used to DJ music, so I have gathered quite an extensive collection of music. I prefer the rock of Dave Matthews Band and Creed, the instrumentals of John Williams and Danny Elfman, the rap of Jay Z and Eminem, the punk of Blink 182 and Zebrahead, the classics of Frank Sinatra and Chuck Berry and the 80's rock of Journey and Pat Benatar. I am also big into musical theatre and my fav is Wicked.
Movies: I ultimately had tried to get into movies when I was stationed out in CA, and I did pretty well. My wife came first and foremost though, and we came back out east. Movies, though, are my love. My favs are Back to the Future (I & II), A Goofy Movie (Disney), The One (w/ Jet Li), Three Musketeers (another Disney), Transformers (duh), The Rock, Kiss of the Dragon (another Jet Li) and pretty much any good Sci-Fi or martial arts movie out there.
TV: Don't watch too much TV... acted in it more than watched it. But I DO buy the seasons of Stargate: SG1, Smallville, Heroes, The Family Guy, Firefly and do occasionally try to catch Whose Line is it Anyways? when it comes on.
Books: I read a LOT of sci-fi books and am in the process of writing a couple of my own. My fav author is RA Salvatore who has written most of the stories on my fav character, Drizzt Do'Urden in the Dungeons and Dragons setting, Forgotten Realms. Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman first got me hooked with their Dragonlance books, and I'll never forget Gary Gygax for getting me into the Roleplaying game arena with D&D. Other than that, I read a lot into my religion and others because I am open-minded. I like to read on Science and Technology also.
Likes: I like to help people by guiding them to better their lives (which is why I do what I do!). I like to see people smile and laugh. I like to be silly and crazy sometimes, to free that part of me that most of us lock down. I like honest people who don't talk trash behind your back.
Dislikes: Politics. Backstabbers. Two-faced people.
Hobbies: World of Warcraft Online RPG, Dungeons and Dragons Book RPG, working out, aerobics, Theatre, adrenaline-pumping activities (sky-diving, rapelling, martial arts), road trips, writing, reading, music, movies and just plain having fun!
Vices: Hmm... what are my vices... too pessimistic?
Virtues: Honor, courage, integrity, the truth, love, identity, decisiveness, justice, dependability, tact, initiative, enthusiasm, unselfishness, knowledge, loyalty and endurance. All the traits the Marine Corps instilled in me and then some...
Heroes: My sci-fi alter ego, Drizzt Do'Urden. Left the dark society he was in as one of the world's best swordsman and found it hard to live in another world surrounded by prejudice. Became one with nature and found his calling. He did find great friends who became like family to him. Through his deeds and heroic acts, the rest of the world would come to know him not as a deadly enemy, but as one of the most trusted people you could ever meet.
